    The shallow structural shell seats in the routed floor opening.

    Service gasket

    A full-perimeter seal isolates the removable electrical service plane.

    Service cassette

    The isolated wiring chamber docks beside the storage volume.

    Receptacle device

    The power device locks into the cassette—not beneath the adapter.

    Cord insert

    The replaceable insert controls the cord exit while the vault is in use.

    The removable carrier bridges the opening while preserving cord clearance.

This is the architecture—not a decorative cover over an ordinary floor box. The adapter lives in a clean user vault while the receptacle and branch wiring remain next door in a removable service plane.

    Find the clear bay.

    Survey structure and services below. Verify the routing template before the first cut.

    Create the flush seat.

    Cut the through-opening, then route the shallow perimeter ledge for the integral rim.

    Set the vault.

    Fit the approved gasket, lower the body, and secure it evenly through concealed guides.

    Connect the sidecar.

    After certification, a qualified electrician terminates and closes the gasketed service cassette.

    Test the assembly, verify cord clearance, and install the selected finish insert.
